DIY Mason Jar Flower Arrangement

I made little light and dark pink mason jar flower arrangements for my sisters Bachelorette party, but you could make them for any party whether its a birthday, shower, valentines day party, or you just want to have pretty flowers in your home.

Materials:

1.) Spray Paint - You can find the ones I purchased here or here.
2.) Newspaper (to spray paint on)
3.) Mason Jars - You can purchase theme here.
4.) 3"x3" Oasis Cylinders - You can purchase them here, or most floral supply stores.
5.) Flowers

Step 1.)  Spray paint your mason jars outdoors, and with newspaper underneath.

Step 2.)  Soak the Oasis in water until it gets completely saturated, and place each of the oasis cylinders half way into the mouth of your mason jars.

Step 3.)  Cut the stems of your flowers leaving about 3-4 inches of the stem, and start
arranging the flowers in the oasis.

Step 4.) Display and enjoy!

Jess

  2. What a fantastic idea! I found your site through Pinterest and I'm loving it so far. If I understand it correctly, the Oasis cylinders keep the flowers hydrated. About how long do the flowers stay fresh-looking in such an arrangement?
