Parmesan Roasted Asparagus

My Auntie Mae gave me this recipe, so you know it's good.


What you will need:
1) 2.5 lbs fresh asparagus (or how ever much you feel like making)
2) 2 tbsp olive oil
3) 1/2 tsp kosher salt
4) 1/2 tsp pepper
5) 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan


Heat oven to 400 degrees. Wash, break and lay your asparagus in a single layer on a sheet pan.
*helpful hint for the non-cooker: asparagus lets you know where it wants to break. Just wash it off and bend it from the bottom and it will break on its own.


Drizzle with olive oil.




Sprinkle a pinch of salt...




Sprinkle a pinch of pepper...




Put in the over for 11 minutes. Then pull out and sprinkle (or grate) Parmesan over the asparagus and return it to the over for 1 minute, just to melt the cheese.




Serve and enjoy with people you love.
