OK, I know this isn't the fun stuff, but I'm going to let you in on a little secret that will make your wedding planning so much easier. Dropbox! If you are already familiar with dropbox, googledocs, the cloud, or something like it, then you know how helpful it is to have all of your information in one place, that you can access from anywhere.
Brandon and I both use dropbox for work, so when we started wedding planning we opened a new folder for our Wedding. Dropbox is free and easy to use. You just download it and then invite whoever you want to view the folder that pertains to them. Then you can access that information from any computer, like checking your email.
We had folders for every vender, with examples we liked. It was great when I wanted to show someone a photo, or pull up vendor information. Dropbox has iPhone and iPad apps, but where is was invaluable was when it came to our guest list!
If making your guest list is anything like ours was, download dropbox now! We had all of our addresses in one place and if either of us updated an address, corrected a name, or added a guest's name, it was all there in one place. We never had to worry about who had the most up to date information. I could update the list at my parents house and Brandon could update it from work and then when we came home it was all in one place.
We still use our wedding dropbox folder for our Christmas card list every year. I'm telling you, it will save you a world of head ache, and weddings are supposed to be fun. Hope this helps.
