DIY: Cupcake Toppers
Happy "How To's Day!" A couple weeks ago we celebrated our twin cousins 16th Birthday! For the family dinner, I made some yellow cake cupcakes with peanut butter centers, chocolate frosting, and reese's peanut butter cups. And to top them off, I made some simple cupcake toppers. Now if you think of yourself as "DIY Challenged," this is a super easy craft project that takes about 10 minutes!
1. You will need: toothpicks, a glue stick, paper, and a circle punch (you can find the one I used at Michaels).
2. Type whatever you want on your topper (a name, monogram, date, etc.), and print from your computer. Then use the circle punch to make the front of your toppers.
3. For the back of your toppers, punch a fun color (I used pink and mint) paper.
4. Glue both halves together with a toothpick in the center.
